The World as Home eBook

What choices do you make in your life? Which turns do you take and when do you stick to your current path? In The World As Home, Yolanda Weldring tells the story of her now-seventy-year-old life – from a happy childhood in Noord-Holland and a free student time in Groningen to an exhilarating career, which led her via youth care in the Netherlands to development cooperation in Asia and Africa. She candidly describes the special encounters; loved ones, family, friends and colleagues, the lessons she learned and the experiences that shaped her world and self-image. The result is a sharp and inspired plea for a better world, in which we treat each other, animals and nature more humanely and carefully.
